Item: Home Theatre Chairs.

On June 23, my wife and I visited Linder's Furniture in Westminster to purchase a home theatre Reclining Chair Combination.

The salesman, Tony, was very polite and patient. We chose a set that we liked and purchased it. Even though, Linder's advertises next day delivery we were told it would not be delivered until Thursday, June 30, a week away.

On June 28, we received a phone call from the delivery department telling us that our purchased would be delivered on Thursdays, June 30, between the hours of 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, June 29, we received another call from Dispatch telling us that our delivery time has been moved up to the hours of 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
On June 30, I came home early from work to accept the delivery, hoping to return to work after the delivery.

At 3:15 PM I call Linder's Furniture to check on the delivery. Jay answered and gave me the phone number to dispatch. Dispatch was a recorded message. I left a message at 3:21 PM. I did not get a call back. I call Dispatch again at 4:32 PM. Left another message, after sending the message I was transferred to a person in dispatch. The woman answering was rude, and said she had no idea as to where the delivery persons were.
Dispatch never called me back, or give me a courty call as to when they may arrive.

I call the store to report the dispatch's attitude. Tony said, he would call dispatch, and called me back. At this time I lso called customer service at 4:42 PM. Customer service directed me back to dispatch. Dispatched said, the delivery will be within 30 minutes.
Tony did not call me back, so I call him again at 5:22 PM; again I called Tony at 5:33 PM. Each time I was told, They'll be there soon.

By 5:51 PM I called Tony and told him I want to cancel this order, since I already lost one day of work, and we were tired of waiting.

Tony said he would call the dispatch again. Finally, Tony called and said that our purchased was now being up loaded to the truck, and you will be the next stop. Again, I told Tony we no longer wanted it. The joy of our purchase was gone.

It was not until after 6:30 PM that the delivery truck came by. There were to people in the truck. They did not stop, but slow down as they pass my house. I told them I have cancelled my order. They both laughed and drove away.

I called Tony again, and informed him of what just took place. He said for me to come in on the next day, July first and talk to Ken Hamilton, the manager.

I would like a full refund, as this seems to be a recition of contract, so I can take my purchase to another store.
