In good faith, since I was told this product could be returned if I was not satisfied. (Product is a sewage tank treatment). I received the product, payments were set up over a 4 month period. I made the first payment of 47.25. I then deceided I was not impressed with the product and returned it to the company..in the original box it came in. I also had noticed on my bill, they had incorrectly credited my account for 2 payments. I called customer service and advised them of the error. The last statement I received was 2-4-05. It did not appear they had credited the account with my return. I waited to see if another bill arrived.
On May 20th, I received several calls that morning beginning around 8am. I tried to answer, however my portable phone needed to be charged and kept cutting off. The person continued to call several more times and when I tried to answer, was cut off. Later I received a call from my husband that he had a message on his cell phone for me. The caller identified himself, said I was having a suit filed aganist me and he had tried callin this morning and kept being hung up on and then he hung up. No return number to call. My husband thought he said the company was SBK? I had no idea who this was.
Later, once my phone has charged, I checked caller ID and say the company was a FBK Products. Still insure who this was, I checked on the interent and found 2 previous reports on this site.
I then checked my paid and closed personal files and found the info for this company, saw that I had returned the product. I tried to call the number on the called ID and kept getting a busy signal.
I then tried the 800 number, asked for the gentlemean that called and was transferred to him. I identified myself, told him he had left a message on my husbands cell phone (He said he didn't know it belonged to my husband, although the recording on my husbands cell clearly states his name.) And I told him that the message said he was hung-up on when he called the home number, I explained about the portable phone and that the Beep he heard was the phone disconnecting. I also told him not to call the cell number again.
I asked what this was about. He said suit was being filed aganist me for $140.00 plus dollars. I then told him that I had no idea what this was about? He said I didn't pay. I told him I had mailed the product back. He asked for a receipt, told him I didn't have one, why would I. He said people that return things always get a receipt. I told him I have returned thngs and never get a receipt, guess I am trusting. He then got ugly and called me a liar. I told him that was certainly not true and that I had made a payment, which he acknowledged. He was being so irate and personally attacking my character, I told him I was not paying for something I returned and this was a scam. He said I was stating that because I was having a suit filed. I told him to go for it and hung up!
What a rip-off! I can't believe this was not received. I have never had a problem with the US postal system and if not received, why has there not been a bill or phone call since Febuary. Return if not satisfied, Yeah Right! You will be expected to pay for the product regardless of what you do!
