Ripoff False Hope On Gaining Furiture

When We bought our new home August of We decided to buy new bed room furniture for our children and ourselves. We spent well over 3,700.00 for the furniture, plus deliervery charges. We to where promised that everything was in stock and were informed that informed that our bill had to be paid in full before they would deliever our furniture. We paid the full balance at the begining of August so that our delerery date would coincide with our move in date. Needless to say that was the start of the run-around game. When they showed up late for the fist deliery date, they brought our bed, my daughters siderails to her bed and 1 dresser for my sons set. (this left in limbo My daughters foot, head and bed frame, my sons entire bed and our chest, mirror, and bed room two piece entertainment stand!) As the weeks passed every so often we would recieve a new piece.

Mind you each piece never completed a set and sat in the corner of each room until it could be assembled! I called the store every other day. So much so the "customer service" staff knew exactley who I was and displayed there disappointing tone. It was well over 6 months until I recieved all of my furniture. I still have a broken foot pedal on my daughters dresser that was delievered this way, the staff was aware and they stated someone would be out to repair it soon. While I was waiting for my furniture many of the excuses I recieved where shipping, limited stores recieving limited numbers of stock and they had to deliver in the order in which they where recieved... Etc.

Basicly no one knew what to tell me and one manager after another would contidict the other. When I complained that the sales rep told me everything i oredered was instock he stated she should have not staed that fact and that she would be repremanded, so just for kicks. I went back to the store to express my intrest in another set of furniture and was told." we have that in stock and it would ship in about 2 weeks" This was the same furniture I was told was in high demand and that was why my current order was taking so long.in the end I demanded that the escrow that was being placed on my money that they stated was in bank holdings since my order was on back shipment be paid to me in full.in the end I recieved a check for One hundred dollars and my shipment mysteriuously arrived 3 weeks later... Moral... Pay the extra cash it's not worth the medication you'll need after all the stress!!!
