On Wednesday, February 23, Michael Dultz was arrested attempting to pass a fourth fraudulent check in the San Fernando Valley at a check casher. He was later released pending further investigation.
This is not the only victim, and in fact there are others in the valley.
Anyone having business dealings with this party, or his wife Carolynn Dultz, either as a client, customer or victim are encouraged to contact our office ASAP.
Their business entities are Care & Maintenance Garage Door or C & M Garage Door in the west Valley area.
Carolynn issues the checks; Michael cashes them, none of them are honored and all come back NSF or account closed.
Dultz has been contacted regarding resitution for the currently outstanding checks - a total of more than $10,000.00, and he has shown no interest in honoring the checks.
If you are a check casher, beware of this activity. If you are planning on hiring someone to work on your home, check with the Contractor's State Licensing Board in California - through the Department of Consumer Affairs, BEFORE hiring anyone or spending your money.
We believe there may be evidence Dultz has taken money to do a job and then vanished.
