I replaced my 23 year old Dishwasher with the Top of the line Dishwasher by Maytag that Home Depot Carries. It was installed two weeks before I tried to run it and it flooded my kitchen. After fighting with their Authorized Service and Home Depot, both of them wanting the other to come out I finally got a repairman who then told me a mouse had eaten up the bottom of the dishwasher. Refused repair. I contacted Maytag and they would do nothing.
I wonder at the plastic being so thin that in two weeks a mouse can totally destroy the appliance beyond capacity to repair. Now I only have his word. I am a widow of 60 years and not able to crawl on the floor to get down there and look. Their only reply was to say you should have bought the one with a metal casing. Gee, I had an almost impossible time to get a salesman at HD to even talk to me about the dishwashers at all much less than tell me their features. Won't buy another Maytag appliance ever.
Won't buy from Home Depot either.
