I had the lovely privilege of experiencing NTB customer service (NOT). I had bought tires and within two months of my purchase one of the tires developed a bulge on the side wall. So I went back to the store to have it replaced and when I got there the clerk looked over the tire and agreed with my assessment that it was just a bad tire - no problem it happens right. So then here comes the manager and I was immediately assaulted that it was my fault for not buying road hazard coverage and that I must have hit something to have caused the bulge. OK so I drive a CRV and if I hit something that hard to produce bulge the size of Mt Rushmore – really. So 1) you think I would know 2) there would have been damage to the car, which would have been easily discernible i.E. Alignment check, scraps, etc.
What made matters worse was that the Manager even tried to blame Goodyear – really! So after letting lose a few chose words about the issue the manager still wouldn’t budge and insisted that I had to buy a new tire. Oh wait, where was the clerk that agreed with me when all this was going down – nowhere to be seen for the rest of time that I was there.

Good news is that there are plenty of other companies that sell tires so I won’t have to go back there and be treated like a criminal again.
