I had my A/C unit installed in 2011. August it wasnt cooling. Sears came out, said oh we didnt put enough coolant in it. March the labor warranty expired. I have had to have huge amounts of coolant put in, of course it was leaking in August, But didnt know to press the repair guys to do a pressure test. A two year old unit and they want $1000 to replace the leaking coils. The tech guy says Carrier has been sending out leaking coils for several years. I just finished paying for the original purchase and now I have to fix their problem! Never again, never using them for anything, not buying a hammer from Sear...
