Sears home services maintenance contract

We have had a Sears maintenance contract on our kitchen appliances for many years. Our Kitchenaid range/oven developed a problem where the oven would cool down to 200 and would not get hotter. We contacted the service number 8004myhome and scheduled an appointment for the next day between 1-5pm. At 430, we had not heard anything and called. After being on hold for ten minutes, we were told that no one was coming, a part had been ordered that would be delivered at some time next week and that we should call when the part arrived and expect an appointment seven days after that! This after waiting all afternoon for a service technician that was not going to arrive. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, kept on hold for 40 minutes without a response. Called from another line, explained the issue (and that we needed to cook for a crowd on Easter). Been on hold for 20 minutes so far.

Awful service and people who could care less! Thanks for ruining our Easter celebration!
