I went to Sears on 6100 south western Friends and Family day. I purchased several bracelets and 3 pairs of earrings. I attempted to wear bracelet #1 and it had a defective clasp I retuned the bracelet for an even exchange. Bracelet #2, yes it too had a defective clasp. I returned said bracelet and again did and even exchange. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF ME PURCHASING THREE BRACELETS WITH A PROBLEM CLASP, well yes I attempted to wear bracelet #3 Friday Dec 14th. Yes, again the clasp doesn%u2019t snap into place and it falls off my arm. So after work I headed to sears to replace bracelet #3 and they were out of stock. I tried to find something comparable that would substitute and even exchange and couldn%u2019t. Omg. I was naive enough to ask that my credit card be credited. The reply, no you can only get a store%u2019s credit. Why I asked. That is policy the TAG HAS BEEN REMOVED, clearly I don%u2019t understand I was going to wear the bracelet and of course I removed the tag. Who wouldn%u2019t. Now here is where I must inform you that I had said TAG, original packaging and sales receipt and it was less than 30 days. The clerk called MS MELODY, who as I tried to reason with them informed me that the TAG must be attached so the jewelry could be return to the case for sale. I%u2019m appalled. Did Sears knowingly sell be broken jewelry and now refuse to issue a credit to my credit card.

I%u2019m a consumer and understand that I must follow the chain of managers, asst etc. So I asked to speak with the store Manager and her response, He is not here. I asked what time would he be in tomorrow, response, I don%u2019t know since he%u2019s leaving. I again, gullible, asked for the assistant store manager and was promptly informed that would be her. I than ask to call customer service Ms Melody stated that they would only agree with what she had told me and yes I did, and they did.

She had no customer service skills, whatsoever she did not offer to call any other store to see if they had the piece in stock. I brought that fact to her attention and her reply you said you wanted a refund. OMG.

I retuned the three pair of earrings as I couldn%u2019t figure out how they could be worn without removing the tags.

Let me bring to your attention that on or around July 4th weekend I bought a bracelet from sears along with the insurance after having a problem with the clasp. This bracelet fell off my arm somewhere. Bottom line it is lost.
Am I that unlucky with purchases or is Sears knowingly selling defective jewelry.

I%u2019m a Sears retiree with 30 years off service and am totally appalled and as I told Ms. Melody this fact, I was informed things have changed.

Let me be clear i do not want a store credit, i want my account credited and to return your jewelry.
