Be very careful when using stamps.com software in purchasing insurance. If you are doing several packages and decide to insure any of them, you must manually clear the insurance amount or the software will automatically sell you insurance on every package that you ship out after you enter an insurance amount. This can be quite costly, and they will not give your money back! After reviewing our past stamps.com purchases, we were hit with over $4000 in fraudulent insurance charges because their "clear" button does not clear out that insured amount. I believe this to be a deliberate flaw in the software designed specifically to sell you insurance and increase the stamps.com bottom line. Please, please take this warning seriously.in this economy, people are out to get your money, don't let these folks do it to you.By the way, you won't even know it happened until the end of the month as the reflected postage price does not show the amount charged to your account for insurance. Very disappointed with this company now.
