I owned a Fuji A210 camera for several years and recently sold it. This was a real piece of crap. The batteries would only last 4 or 5 pictures, then die. I thought I would give the company another chance when I was enticed into buying a S2940 camera (an intermediate camera for those who have graduated from the amateur camera to a more professional camera) from a clearance at Wal-Mart. This looked like a nice camera. When I took it home, I was very happy with the camera itself, but was confused as to some of the features of the camera as the "manual" they provide you with is either like an encyclopedia or a very obscure sheet of paper. I decided to call their customer service line. What I got was an extremely rude and sarcastic operator with a bad attitude. I think Fuji has a 3 question limit, because she hung up on me after the 3rd question and referred me to the manual, despite the fact that I was very polite and respectful to each and every operator I had spoken to. Another try got me a slightly better rep that too got annoyed at me after the 2nd question. My last and final call gave me even a more sarcastic male operator who told me I called the "entire customer service department". And that I hung up on all of them! It seems to me like these people were doing me a favor by answering the telephone and kept referring me back to the manual. The problem with the manual is some of the features need to be explained in better detail. I normally would have rated this camera 4 stars, but due to lousy customer service, they screwed themselves out of 2 stars.
