Like others, I ordered and paid for the camera, on-line. I was then told I had to contact the company because the needed to verify my credit card.
I was then pressured into buying other accessories. As this was a replacement for the same version of a camera that had just damaged, I already had any accessories that they could have tried to sell me. I did end up buying a 3 year protection plan, which I would not have purchased on-line.
The camera arrived, with all the original items that my first factory (Fuji) camera came with, with two differences. The camera strap was not the same; the replacement was a cheaper version. The camera did not come in the Fuji original factory packaging. It came in a plain, white box.
Remember, I had already purchased this camera locally and knew what to expect. So far, the camera appears fine, but if I ever need the extended warranty, we will see what happens.
Just after this purchase, (within a week) my AMX card was used in a fraudulent purchase where something was purchased and shipped to another address. This is the only time I have ever had my information compromised.
