Order Reference number SPPC-U010212-75NDZ of 1/2. I did not realise that the order for Software Speedy PC Pro included Automatic Renewal. I am 80 years old and my eyesight is not so good; the info about the renewal was in pale print and in fine print above a vey brightly coloured web page which was quite distracting so I did not see it; in any case there was no opt out provision.
The URL that they say will allow you to remove the Automatic Renewal which I certainly want to remove did not refer to my problem at all and there was no help for what to do next. I have spent over an hour trying to find what to do without result. The program I found caused me all sorts of problems and in fact I ended up in a much worse position with my computer than when I started. All I wanted was an explanation for a file extension, (which they advertised they would give on Google) and instead I got a program that messed up my registry and temp files and goodness knows what else. Thank goodness for System Restore, although I am not quite out of the woods with my Operating System yet. I keep getting Hangs and have lost count of the number of Error Messages sent to Microsoft without much help from them either.
