Poor Service on Return of Defective Merchandise

I bought a refurbished Lenova laptop on November 6, recieved the unit November 9 to find out that half the screen did not work. Called Newegg.com and recieved a RMA number witha prepaid shipping label. Shipped the unit out on November 10, they recieved the unit in thier warehouse on November 17. Today is November 21, I called to check teh status since according to thier email the package had not been opened yet. I was informed that I could expect 7-10 days to process a return and decide if it would be repaired or replaced. What poor service, they already sent me a defective merchandise and now I have to wait for them to decide how they want to take care of the defective equiment that they sent me. Last time i buy from newegg.com. Very poor service!!!
