The worst customer service

Hello,

I am astonished at how poor the customer service at Hewlett Packard is!!! Now I see why my University where I teach prefers Dell.
On Tue a brand new HP Pavilion Elite computer (costing over $1800) arrived. I had requested one that would be configured to work with two computer monitors. When I opened the box, to my dismay, they had only included one adapter so my monitor plugs would fit into the back of the computer.
UNFORTUNATELY I WAS SENT ONLY ONE ADAPTER!
I called HP and they said they would send me another adapter overnight. They did not ask what my monitor plugs look like, which would have been helpful in sending me an adapter.

When the adapter arrived yesterday, it did not fit my computer!
I called HP to ask that this issue be corrected, and I WAS SHUNTED TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE IN MANY DEPARTMENTS, NONE OF WHOM COULD HELP ME. I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR ONE HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTES TRYING TO GET SOME AND NO ONE KNEW WHAT TO DO!!! AND EACH TIME I HAD TO REPEAT THE WHOLE STORY.

I called back several hours later and the person in customer service who took my call had no idea what to do.
Finally, i got disgusted and asked for the refunds department.

I am returning the computer; what a mess and what a lot of time wasted.
