Computer adapter under warentee - however won't replace unless ship the laptop with it - Samsung Laptop online purchase

Laptop under warentee and so is this adapter, however it's just the adapter that has gone bad, they will not send a new one out unless we ship the entire laptop with the broken adapter, and I tried to tell them the laptop is fine, just the adapter part is bad.
