On 12/01/10 at approximately 11:00am I contacted, via telephone, the best buy store located at 3367 Daniels Rd Winter Garden, FL 34787. The reason I contacted them was because an audio cable in my vehicle wasn't working and I had it installed there approximately 2 years prior. The guy I spoke with on the phone advised me to come into the store and there were several people in the installation department that could help me, and they should be able to fix the problem pretty fast. I got in my car and drove for 30 minutes to the store. Once there the guy in the vehicle installation department told me he had never spoken to me and that I would have to leave my vehicle there for most of the day. He was very rude in the process of telling me this as was the guy I spoke with on the phone. I then spoke with a manager and he seemed very upset about the service, or I should say lack of service I had received. He didn't however take any action. I am a long time best buy customer and I was very disappointed in the experience I had at the store. It's a shame in these tough economic times that I would be forced to take my business elsewhere and relay my bad experience to my many friends and family. I'm not the type of person to complain, but to be told one thing on the phone and respond to the store and be treated as if I was the one who had made the mistake was very disheartening. I don't want anyone to be fired or anything, but someone definitely needs to speak with the person in charge of the store, because customers shouldn't be treated that way.
