I bought an Acer Aspire One Netbook in Feb '09, and nearly instantly two of the rubber toes about the base of it arrived down and were dropped. No big deal, I thought. I have had that occur on additional notebooks and simply discovered substitutes in the producer. Not too with Acer. I'venot had the opportunity to locate something for that Desire One online, and so I sent Acer assistance and requested them, "May I buy alternative rubber legs for a One AOA150 from Acer or everywhere online?". Their reaction was the program serial number didn't complement something within their repository and they could be pleased to react after I listed it. I'd authorized it just 3 months before and had obtained a contact confirming the enrollment. Our next thing was to contact Acer. After I named, I achieved a "customer support" repetition named Shanti who hardly spoke English. It had been very hard to comprehend her, but she declined my demands (3 times) for connecting me with somebody who talked better English. She did only study from the software, and would not, or could not, reply my easy issue with out me feel the whole enrollment procedure again. Once which was all finished, about five minutes after I first named, she explained that I'd need to discover somebody locally to provide the rubber toes which she'd no info on one to whom I really could proceed. The underside point below... Acer has ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT and cares nothing about their clients. When you purchase their produce, you are by yourself.
Like A postscript, I called back about half an hour following the first phone finished and was informed, in hardly clear Language, that my pc hasn't been authorized. After I informed the repetition that I'd only completed joining it significantly less than half an hour before, she merely repeated himself, again and again. She'd no idea what I had been actually saying.
