Terrible tech support

I purchased a notebook within the summer of 2006 to utilize for college. I'd to truly have the device maintained the next year since the display declined to show on. After fighting with tech-support in India for one hour and informing them I simply wished to deliver the system set for fix, they decided and that I was out $600. Annoying, although not the main reason I'll never purchase a dell again.

I acquired a disease on my pc in the centre of August. I got it to bestbuy to obtain it maintained plus they stated I required something recover drive simply because they could not restore.

I called Dell. I told them I required something recover drive since my pc had a disease and that I desired to begin with damage. They explained they didn't have process restore drives (wtf?) but I can buy an OS update that will do basically the same for that low-low cost of $100. I decided to the extortion since I needed it mounted. Dell delivered mean XP home update. Our computer already had XP home.

I called back. The following person I talked to explained they didn't understand why I had been informed Dell didn't have process restore drives, obviously they'd them-and they'd deliver me one for that low cost of $35. I decided. That point I had been delivered a copy power to save lots of my documents, that we had particularly informed the repetition used to do not require.

Three months later, I had been no nearer to choosing the best drive. I named Dell to get a return, and also the customer support representative handled me as an idiot. Why did I do want to return these products? Why was I delivered these things? Perhaps since an OS update along with a copy power AREN'T SYSTEM RESTORE DRIVES.

I fear calling Dell customer support. The delays are usually such a long time and also the repetitions clearly don't determine what I want. Because of their mess, I skipped on three months of law school records. I shelled out the cash and got a Toshiba.

Dell sucks. Their goods pull but their actual problem is their customer support. I recognize it's cheaper to make use of callcenters in Bangalore, but I settled lots of cash to possess somebody qualified answer my grievances. Atleast I acquired my $135 back
