I seldom complain about an online purchase. Most vendors go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. Newegg is the notable exception. I've never met a company so unwilling to make right on a purchase. I spent $325 for an ASUS motherboard only to find it defective. I went through the Newegg process to return it only to have them reject the return saying I damaged the board, with is totally absurd. No amount of calling, writing did any good. Even American Express tried 3 times to get the charge reversed, all to no avail. Bottom line is Newegg puts on a nice web site. They make it appear that they are all customer friendly. But when faced with returning a customer's money, look out. All the nice-nice goes away and you see them for who they are.in my case they could have done any number of things to make me happy, like go to bat for me with the manufacturer.instead they did the opposite. The did everything in their power to do the exact opposite. Don't be fooled. If you need an item Newegg sells, find it elsewhere and go there. Don't risk it because in the end you need them to be cooperative to refund your purchase. Otherwise, you'll just waste your time and energy when you could have dealt with a reputable company instead. Learn from my mistake and buy elsewhere.
