American Home Shield
Air conditioner and furnace repairs refused as not up to current code

Shops, Products, Services Richard from houston 0

I live in the Houston, TX area and have American Home Shield for more than two years. I have tried to have them repair my A/C system but was told that it was not installed up to the current codes, but it was up to code when it was installed. They would not do any repairs. In 2008 we had A.M.S. Look ...

A/C replacement denied because system not up to current code

We filed a service report on our A/C system as it was no longer cooling our house and we had air conditioning coverage on our warranty. AHS sent out a technician in their network who checked the air conditioning system and agreed there was a major problem with the unit and that the unit needed ...

Refrigerator and icemaker not covered despite being told yes

American Home Shield is a ripoff, you are offered a coverage that is supposed to be covering everything in your house and then you need service. Good luck!!! You call and they tell you that the item is not covered or if you need your heat or ac fixed they tell you that it's not covered because you ...

Horrible service - Plumbing and A/C

Construction & Repair Tprincess 0

Their service is horrible. They charge you a co-pay even if they don't fix the problem. I wish I could be employed by them. No matter what terrible job you do, you get paid. I do not recommend them at all. I have been a customer for over 8 years and all I have is complaint after complaint. I prefer ...

American Home Shield
Same company sent repeatedly for dishwasher, sewer and AC repairs

Construction & Repair K_epstein 0

I received information in the mail today about a lawsuit against AHS... They are requesting people who had service from 2001 till 2008 to participate in the settlement. This does not mean you will go to court, it means you will get a settlement for entering your side of your story (if wronged by ...

American Home Shield
Furnace with cracked heat exchanger denied as pre-existing for three weeks

Construction & Repair Pam464 0

We bought a house in Feb and had a home warranty provided to us by the previous home owners. The week after we moved in, we did the appropriate thing by having the oil furnace serviced prior to getting service & oil deliveries. The oil company came out and we were told that the heat exchanger ...
