We had a very old Maytag that was leaking from the bottom. We were told that it would cost more to fix it than replace it-so we did-with a GE Hydrowasher. Big, Big mistake. This washer doesn't fill enough to even cover the clothes, ties things in knots that result in pretty much permanent wrinkles, doesn't rinse out even the tiniest bit of laundry detergent that I was told to use, and takes so flipping long to wash a load even on light. They want to reduce the water used but offer a setting for a 2nd rinse? We made a huge mistake. So much for American made-it's junk and we're stuck with it.
