We bought a Hydrowave washer by GE at Home Depot about six months ago. This is model GTWP2000F0WW. We were very surprised at how well it cleaned, even though it doesn't use much water. It actually took about ten loads before I decided it was working right. It's a very good idea and system, HOWEVER it is very poorly made. The center spinning piece that has four "fins" on it, I think it's called the agitator, has four broken fins after only six months of use. They are very thin cheap plastic. First it was just one, and we thought we could live with that, and now they have all just broken off. You find them when you empty your clothes, and now we can't wash our clothes without tearing them up on the sharp edges left by the broken fins. Not something I would expect from General Electric. Great idea, but cheaply made, probably in China.
