I really thought I had been screwed over before but I think this one tops them all.

This company has damaged my CREDIT!!! I financed a Nissan through NMAC in Aug. I have had the car ever since and never seen any type of stament book or bill. I tried to call the dealeship in Sept-Oct. Because I knew a payment had to be made. They didn't return my calls. I finally talked to someone who I told what was going on. She put me on hold for about 5 or 6 min. And never got back on the phone. That was as long as I waited.

Around the middle of Oct, NMAC finally called and talked to my husband. He gave them our current address and told them to send us a bill. We wanted physical evidence to where we were sending our money to. (Just in case it was a scam) They said okay we would have the bill within 3 days. We never saw it and they never called and gave us an address to send our payment to.

They finally called and spoke to me, The debtor. My husband is the co-obligor. I gave them a check # on the phone on Nov 2 even though I had never seen a bill on the car. I recieved a call from them on the 3rd wanting another payment. Then today I got a letter stating they would repossess the car or file suit. I explained to them what was going on. The customer service rep, AMY, could not help me so I asked to speak to her manager. She said she would try to help me but would not let me speak to her manager.

I ended up calling back and asked for the manager explained to her the situation and asked her if there was anything that could be done about my credit since I had never recieved a bill. She said no, that it was my fault for not finding some way to get them the payment. I told her I never got a bill to know where to send it to and that the girl who spoke to my husband didn't give him the address. She said well I can't do anything and you have another bill due immediately. I told her well I just finally received a bill yesterday.

I couldn't get anything done so I ended up calling back and Speaking to Patricia another Manager. She couldn't or WOULDN'T TRY TO DO ANYTHING. Asked if there was any way to extend the due date since I just made a payment 3 days ago. They said no you have to have made 4 payments before they could do that. They did't try to help in the least. They were rude, un-informed, put all the blame on me and could have cared less.

If anyone has any information PLEASE HELP ME. I don't know what else to do. My credit is screwed all because of a misunderstanding. I could go on for days. I know I have probably left out part of it.

I will never ever do business with neissan again and i hate that they made it come to this because i love my car! Beware because they really don't care!!! Please call 1-800-777-6116 ext. 4371 & 4574 to voice your concern about this situation. I even told them that i would go public and they told me that if that was the way i felt then go ahead.
