On December 23 me and my fiance went to Jd Byrider in louisville, KY to by a car we needed a new vehicle, so we traded in our 1991 Chevy Astro mini van for a 1997 Chevy Lumina we test drove it drove fine during the test drive.
We bought the lumina we got a mile down the road and it leaked all the antifreez out. Which cause the car to overheat, Jd Byrider had already closed so we had to take it back the very next morning and then refused to give our money or our van back they told us we had to either get it fixed or buy another car.
We then got a 1994 oldsmobile 88 royale and it has bad paint chips on the driver side, and also has a electrical problem that was supposed to get fixed. Then a couple months down the road my door on the drivers side front would not shut it would fly open going down the road.
I took it up there to be fixed they told me they could not fix it. Now we had gotten permission to take the car out of the state of kentucky to the state of illinois as long as the payments were made. The reason we had to take the car out of state was so my fiance could be there for his son.
They then called me at my soon to be brother in laws house to tell me that they are going to press concealment charges for the car being out of the state of kentucky. I then told them that the car was not concealed they have the address where the car is located at.
But they do not want to repo the car they just want to have us arrested instead for concealment of the vehicle. We have tried several times to talk to them about making the payment a monthly payment as well as we let them know that the payment was going to be a little late because he had lost his job and was trying to find another job.
So instead of working with me they are trying to screw me out of 4,000.00 we had already paid on the car and still owe 4,736.00 on the car and it really is not worth that much. They are trying to screw us out of everything.
I am wondering if there is anything we can do about what Jd Byrider and CNAC is doing to us?
