They charged me for unauthorized work that they never did and held the car for over two weeks

I brought my girlfriends car to them because they were conveniently located. A motor mount had broken going over a curb and that's what I ordered done. The owner Debra Noonan quoted me a price and told me to pick it up the day after next due to them being a little busy. The price and time worked for me so I left them with the work order.

The day that she told me it would be done I called in to retrieve the car, she informed me that it was being done at that moment and I could pick it up tomorrow so I said fine. I called in the next afternoon and Noone answered, so I walked over there and was again informed that they were working on it which angered me because I was standing inside the garage and my car wasn't on any lift or even in there! I left pretty upset with a guarantee that it would be done again by the next day.

I called the next day to check on my car and was informed that the mechanic working on my car was out that day and Debra couldn't give me any info on what's been done or not. She tells me that my mechanic will call me in the morning to have patience! The next day I call and he is still not in, this goes on till about 3:00 P.M. When finally she calls me and says that the guy is there finishing up my car and he'll call after he drives it. Needless to say I'm calling again at almost 5:00 P.M. With no answer.

I get up on what is the sixth day that they've had my car and walk over to see if I can't get some movement in person. My car is on a lift in the back and Debra informs me that they test drove the car and it was fixed but the brakes were out. I knew this to be a lie the brakes didn't go out while it was sitting in their shop, so I told her I would fix it myself. She informed me that they had already begun replacing them and quoted me an inflated price for the work. I told her I didn't authorize the work and wasn't informed of it and I wouldn't pay for it and she needed to get my car out to me now. She refused to release the car citing safety and insisted that I was paying for the work or the labor hours for the install and the uninstall of the brakes.

I contacted the police who informed me that she has been reported in several fraud cases and its common knowledge that she runs a scam repair service. I paid for the work I authorized and signed off on and had my car towed from there. I put my brakes back on and replaced the pads for little or nothinf, they are still working wonderfully. She threatened to sue me but I challenged her to take me to court and of course she didn't because she knew she didn't have a leg to stand on.

Please do not take your car here people, this woman and her family are goons. There isn't an honest thing about this place and I'm sure there's more evil than meets the eye even. This was literally the worst place I've ever done business with in any facet of my life and I'm an Infantryman so I've seen it all!
