Dennis Ivanov Defrauds employees and Automotive Dealerships

Dennis Ivanov of Pro Active Marketing recruits car salespeople and sends them to prearranged auto sales at various dealerships in the U.S.A. He then operates under deceptive practices that defraud both the dealership and his employees.

Dennis Ivanov opens and closes checking accounts within the state that the sale is operating. Employees are paid by a manager so that Dennis Ivanov is not on the check.

In Sumter, South Carolina while under contract at Scott Will Toyota, some employees were not paid for their car deals. Nonpayment was blamed on a manager known as Ken, but Dennis Ivanov did nothing to correct the problem.

In Bastrop, Louisiana at Butch Carter Toyota of Bastrop, it was found that Dennis was "Power Packing" car deals. This means that a higher priced car is presented for the loan than that which is actually purchased. Loan companies will not find out unless the car is repossessed. At that point, the loan company will realize it has a vehicle worth substantially less then what they had expected.By then, they will go after the dealership but Ivanov will be long gone.

At this same dealership, Dennis quickly removed his employees on October 5 and told them that he couldn't pay them because Butch Carter had not payed him. Butch Carter denies this. Employees were told by Dennis Ivanov that he would get the money from Butch Carter and pay them within a week. All employees who could afford to do so, were sent on their own money, to Waycross, Georgia.

After the first week in Waycross, Georgia at Robbie Robinson Ford, Dennis Ivanov changed his phone number and could no longer be reached by his employees. All employees were left without food or shelter while continuing to fulfill the contractual obligations at the dealership. On October 24, the acting manager Ken informed employees that Robbie Robinson had not payed Dennis, so again they couldn't be paid.By October 30, Dennis's manager Ken had also disappeared and changed his phone number. All remaining employees were left bereft. Robbie Robinson was made aware of this on October 30. He also claims to have paid Dennis. While Robbie Robinson tried to help the employees, he still cannot pay them himself because of the contractual obligations.

Dennis Ivanov is presently scamming another dealership right now in Mississippi. He has hired new employees and they are under threat not to tell their exact location or they will be fired.
