Brought my Ford Escape to the dealer for an oil change. They were concerned about my power steering hose and recommended repair. I agreed to the repair. Two days later the dealer called and stated that they couldn't find the part. A week later the dealer informed me that the part was on nationwide back order and my car was escalated to VIO (Vehicle Inoperable). I called Ford motor company and the rep told me that part NEVER fails and it would be looked into. The following week I called Ford back and was told that it had been escalated to the regional manager and I should expect a phone call. Several more calls to Ford and almost SIX months later, I still have no car; still am promised a part that never materializes; still have never been contacted by Erica, the (supposed) regional manager.
