Oh, so sad, because USPS is no longer decent or honorable. I understand downsizing, but there is still responsibility of the people left to take pride in their job. My Company runs with a smaller staff, I try everyday to step up. I shipped 3 packages the same day from Wisconsin, all three had delivery confirmation, one was also insured. Two were sent to Des Moines to be sorted on route to the west coast (CA and OR), the other to CA had insurance also. The insured one shows 'missent' online, and after 8 days is back in DES MOINES, the other two have been sitting in Des Moines for 4 days with no updated activity. To the point, the supervisor (three transfers and two idiots reciting the delivery confirmation from the online tracker over and over later) actually said 'I will open a case for the one because you insured it, the other two, call back in 14 days. I commented that the others were supposed to be delivered in 4 - 7 days per the Post Office, he said 'that is what we say, but internally we wait at least 14 days to even begin to try and track it'! SO, the only reason he helped at all is because the Post Office w/have to pay out on insurance" GREAT WORK ETHIC! I used USPS for over 7 years for my small business, not anymore, I do not want to lose my reputation due to their mistakes-I am switching to UPS as of NOW
