Took my money and said wait 15 more days to get your car title

Called in on 9-21 to get pay-off amount, 2-3 days later called back to verify the quickest way to get my title so that I could use my truck as a trade-in. Representative informed me that once they received the payment in either a personal, certified or cashier's check I would get my title within 4 calendar days (not business days), I was very specific. After monitoring my checking account for several days on 9-28-12 they cashed the check. So on 10-01 I called back for two reasons 1. To see if they might finance another vehicle. 2. Verify mailing of my title

The representative informed me that even though she could see the check had been processed and paid it would take another 15 days to get my title, obviously this made me quite upset. I asked to speak with a supervisor she was quite rude (Stephanie) and I asked the quickest way to get my title what do I need to do? Her answer, fax a copy of my account showing the processing of the check along with a copy of the front and back of the check. Once they received that they would have to send it to California, verify it, send it back to Texas and then they would issue me my title. (Time lapse 7-10 working days). So no difference, unbelievable and absolutely no concern for the consumer. We got your money, now hurry up and wait.
