The customer service is an absolute joke. I use the online deals like most people these days every so often. My sister, whom happens to live in Uganda, Africa, is getting married Sept. 8th, we decided to buy a deal for eyelash extensions. I called before I bought them to be sure scheduling her would not be an issue since she would be in town 9 days before her wedding. They did not want to schedule me then and preferred I called more like a week ahead of the time we'd like to be scheduled. When I called they had a surge of appointments scheduled, and said the first appointment available was Sept. 11th. I explained to them the situation, and pleaded if there was anything we could do to at least fit the bride in, they gave us an available time which would have conflicted with the rehearsal dinner and a time that was the day of the wedding which is not something my sister wants to do! I explained everything to the link provided when a refund is requested, and the only thing they said was we are sorry we cannot refund your deal since it is past the possible refund time frame. Here is a link to review the refund policy so this will not happen to you in the future. Thanks a lot livingsocial, I spent $99, my sister not the bride spent $99, and my sister the bride spent $99, and we are unable to use them for the reason we bought them at least two of us live in the area and will have to use them on a pointless day. Needless to say I will never be buying a livingsocial deal again.
