I bought this car from cars on credit on vista and they finance with y2k in garden city. This is the worst experience of my life and will probably let them repo the car if I am unable to obtain legal representation. I bought the car 02/18 and gave them 500.00 down, 600.00 on my trade in and this was all the money I had to my name and i informed Kelly there of this and of course he promised me this was a good car and would bring me happiness. What a croc of bs. On 02/24, thats right 7 days after purchase it is chugging, can smell fuel inside my car, the dashlights are going off and on, the blinker is not working, etc.
I still owe over 3,000.00 at this point. So every month since I bought the car it has been in their shop and Joe and Scott and y2k and the auto shop tell me in June that it is more than likely a bad transmission and they are sorry cuz the car should of never been on the lot or sold to me and they would do right by me by either getting a new transmission or putting me into a car of equal value that works.
So here it is end of august and car still going in and out of shop, except this time they told me it is my fault and I will have to pay for all repairs. This came from the mechanic Scott due to Joe or anyone else refuses to talk with me and wont answer my calls, emails, etc. After fighting with Scott the mechanic for 10 or so minutes, I informed him that no one informed me that I would pay for anything and I have a voicemail from Joe reassuring me he will fix this and that several laws are being broken such as the truth in lending act, the ftc, etc.
Scott says I will take this up with Joe but we are tacking it onto the end of your loan, I said no you are not and I wont make another car payment til Joe and I talk and figure this out. Not another dime is coming from me, and going on 48 hours later and no call from Joe the manager of Y2k or Susanne the woman handling my account and Linda and Katie who answer the phone are rude and inconsiderate and I am being mild. I cry every day and will be walking if they repo my car and I am also sick from work on fmla due to medical conditions that are exacerbated by stress and emotional upsets. Also I have a sick family member. They don't care and they have taken everything from me and I am at my wits end. So shame on you y2k and cars on credit, shame on you.
