Charges for services NOT performed

July 31 I scheduled service for a 2009 Wrangler to be performed on August 7. Specific service was, 50,000 mile service, 4wd service to maintain power train warranty, and replace failed driver door power lock motor assembly. Was told the service would take 1 day. I delivered the vehicle at 7:30am Aug. 7.By 9:30am I received a phone call stating my spark plug wires were breaking when the mechanic would try to remove them, for spark plug replacement, and I would need to purchase a new set. I agreed to purchase the wire set. At 5pm, I received a second telephone call, "the door lock actuator was not installed, but we will do it first thing in the morning and call you", I said ok. Aug 8, Day 2 passes without calls, at 4pm I call and find out they did not have the parts for the door lock early enough, and the tech performing the 4wd service did not finish because of a required sensitivity training class, and assured me the vehicle would be ready by 9am the following day. Aug 9, I called at 11:30am to check status, I was told the vehicle was still in the 4wd service department and will be ready for door lock repairs asap. 4pm, I called and said "whatever parts you have off, just throw them in the back, I will put them on, I will be there in 1 hour to pick up my jeep". I arrived at 5pm to be greeted with a bill for services in an amount greater than 1200.00. Now the best part. When looking at the vehicle, with the service manager, and the lead mechanic, both had to admit, that the 4wd service had never been performed, the transmission pan had never been removed and filter changed, the differential covers had never been removed for ring and pinion inspections, the transfer case drain and filler plugs had never been removed, and the drivers door had dents and scratches on the inside after repairs were made.

Had I not looked my vehicle over closely, and forced them to come out and look at what they claim to have performed by way of services, I would have been charged for services NOT performed.

Now, 24 hours later, after driving the vehicle a total of 28 miles, the check engine light came on. Code P013c - Oxygen sensor slow to respond.

I will NEVER allow Rockwall Dodge another opportunity to try and screw me over again.

Rockwall Dodge - your nothing more than criminals, AND, after checking around town, Im not the only one that has caught you in the act of attempting to sell services that have not been performed.

I dont know why Im surprised, any company that would take taxpayers money to bail them out of bankruptcy have to be criminal on some level.
