On April 6 We made a modification agreement with Drive Financial Services. They had been making threating phone calls, even to the point of telling my 11 year old daughter that they would be at our door in 20 minuites. This scared her to death! This was totally uncalled for. We were 1 month behind on our payments.
We decided to modify our agreement to get them "off our case".
After modifying our agreement, they still don't have it correct. We are sent bills with incorrect due dates and late fees. When we call they are rude, and tell us their office doesn't handle "that". When I ask who I should talk to, they supposedly don't know. So, when I ask for a supervisor, noone is available.
After all this hassle, I mailed them photo copies of our modification agreement, and a letter explaining the incorrect dates and late fees. I sent it certified maile. I ask them to call me. They did not. I called 1 month later, and they say they did not receive it. They don't want to work with people. They just want to charge them made up late fees and increase the financing amounts. It seems like a desperate attempt to make more money. I also found out that they don't even offer insurance. Almost all auto financing establishments offer insurance, when they are a creditable company.
