My car is financed through Drive and I have accumulatedover $550 in late fees from being a day late here or there for the past 3 years. I had an issue with my car and had to make a payment a month late due to funds. They called and informed me I had a past due balance of $1400 and I almost had a stroke. They then said it was the late and current car payment. The rest was late fees that I didn't even know had been accumulating.
I feel it is wrong for a company to charge such ridiculous late fees without informing you this is their policy before hand. If I would have know this, I would have defered the payments.
