On February 18th my friends and I were in Columbus, Ohio. My 2000 pontiac grand prix broke down after I went over a speed bump. We called a tow truck service to tow us to the nearest garage. When the tow truck arrived we found that the lateral link bar sometimes called a control arm had broken. My car was towed to Midas. On February 21st Midas looked at my car and told me that they would fix the bar and quoted me a price of 289.00 before taxes. I agreed for them to fix it. Later that same day Midas called and told me the car was about finished and to come down (I live an hour away from Columbus) to get the car. I paid for their services a total of $301.66.
Once I started driving the car on 71 north heading home I would notice that if I hit a bump that the rear end of the car would shift right or left. I felt unsafe in the car and slowed down my speed, drove in the slow lane to basically in my mind limp the car back home.
