I went to Budget Auto Sales looking for an inexpensive car. They had a 2005 Chevy Impala with 106,000 miles for $5,980.00. I agreed to purchase the car for that amount and used the credit union he referred me to. The people at the credit union were great they treated us very well. I bought the car everything was fine. I drove the car for the next couple of days and noticed that there was a light popping sound coming from the left side.
I took the car back to the dealer and told him about the sound. He said he could have someone look at it and see what it is. I then asked him and if something is wrong with it what do we do then? He said I am not going to fix the car, because then you could come up here and ask me to fix it every time something goes wrong. I attempted to explain to him that my ability to pay for the repair, considering it could be anywhere between $200 - $800 dollars, I was unable pay for the repair because all of the money I had went to the down payment. Before I could get "I need you to understand my situation..." I was interpreted with "Don't get cocky with me or you will be out of here on your a*." Really? Nice professionalism.
I then, aggravated as I was, went to my car and started calling around to see what my legal rights were. I came back inside and started to speak to the other fellow that was nicer Before I could talk the other guy said "Come talk to me a minute." I preceded to tell him "I don't want to talk to you you are unprofessional and rude and I am done dealing with you." I then started to talk to the other guy, Bill, explaining I was going to seek legal council. Bob then said "You should have let me help you." I said "I did give you the chance to help me." In a raised tone of voice at this point. He then jumps out of his chair and starts to threaten me to hit him so he can deck me and balls up his fist. I am filing a police report for assault. I will NEVER buy a car from this place again. I suggest you don't either. He told me he had another idiot say the same thing earlier. So evidently it happened twice on one day.
