I purchased a vehicle from Stevie D's and at that point they seemed great. They gave us one year free oil changes and sold us a 1 year extended warranty which they said to bring the car back to them. We did bring the car back to them around 2 months after we purchased it for some electrical issues and drive tran issues and the heat was not working. They corrected these issues under my warranty. When it was time to change the oil we decided to bring the car to another place since Stevie D's is a distance from my home. The mechanics who are also a state inspection station called my husband to come look at the car. They showed my husband that the entire bottom of my car was rotted out. There are 4 holes in the bottom of the car do bad you can see the carpet in the car through the holes. The spoilers are rotted and falling off and my bumper was hanging on by a string. They told him not to let me and the kids drive in it and that there was no way the car passed inspection just 4 months ago and to bring the car back to the dealer. My husband brought the car into Stevie D's and spoke with the owners wife who blamed us for the rot that we had parked the car in a puddle or something. My husband left and a few minutes later the owner called him back and apologized for his wife and told us to bring the car in on Monday.
We brought the car in Monday and had the pleasure (NOT!) to deal with the owners wife again. She started off asking why we were bringing it in and what was wrong. We told her about the rot and she was like OK and my husband also told her that the rear brakes were metal to metal and she started being rude and saying well we don't cover that you know that... My husband was like OK fine just fix it. And my husband told her about the bumper on the car. She than got real loud and was like you must of hit something... I spoke up and stated no I drive the car and have never hit anything... I only use it to drive the kids around. She than got real loud and my husband got angry with her. But instead of having good customer service and attempting to diffuse the situation since we were clearly upset about the condition of the car we just purchased she was screaming at us. My husband did call her a few inappropriate names and left. I stayed to try to talk through this however she was screaming at me saying she was calling the cops on me and to get the hell out. I left. The owner again called my husband a few minutes after we left apologizing again for his wife and wanted us to bring the car back later that day. I refuse at this point to go back since they threatened to call the police on us and his wife treated us like crap. I bet her car is safe for her family but they sell me a lemon.
At this point I have filed a formal complaint with the dealer commission which anyone else who has an issue with this place should do! Not many people know you can but you can. I have also filed a complaint with the state inspection office since the car should of never passed. DO NOT purchase a vehicle here they are shady! They must of seen the rot on the bottom of the car when they inspected it and when they serviced it a few months later. Horrible that people like this take advantage of people in this economy.
