I went to Nedd's Auto Repair to get my brakes fixed since the light had been on for a little over a week and its winter in Northern Michigan. I figured this would be a Auto shop i could trust, even tho everyone there looked a bit rough, since its in my home town.
After dropping my car off and picking it up, i drove it home. On the way home my car started pulling to the right which it has never done before. Worried that something else was wrong i took it back complaining that it wasn't like this before. When entering the shop i noticed a lady that was working there wearing my grandma's ring that she gave me! This is a one of a kind ring and costs quite a bit mind you. I comforted her right away saying that the ring was mine and demanded it back right away. She claimed she got it a couple days ago and that there was a mix up she was smirking the whole time. I literally felt my stomach drop there was nothing i could do and i knew i left it in my car a habit i always do with all my belongings. Later found out that when fixing my brakes they "accidentally" messed something up and i had to get my car aligned as well. I went back again demanding the ring back but she wasn't their and i had to deal with the owner Nedd. He gave me the run around saying he didn't know anything about the ring and couldn't do anything about it but would align my car for 10% off since it was their fault. At this point i didn't even care about my car i just wanted my grandma's ring back. I would have given my car to them just for that ring it met more to me than anything. I didn't go back there to get my car fixed again nor did i ever get my ring back i literally cried for days over that ring. I would never refer this Auto shop to anyone!!! Their thefts through and though. Beware!!!
