Was also sold a lemon buy express credit auto

Three and a half years ago, struggling with new credit I purchased a 2004 Dodge Neon from express credit auto. Within the first four weeks, the car was malfunctioning and breaking down daily.

Though the car was covered under the warranty, I was constantly driving from Moore to North OkC for repairs in their auto shop. I was left with no way to get to work on many occasions, and quickly was having a devastating effect on my finances.

Each time the car was given a clean bill off health, yet began to malfunction within 24 hours. When speeds were reached around 40 the car cut out violently, and the dials would fluxuate up and down, as if a computer malfunction.

I contacted the dealer, franchise and head office, demanding something be done or to give me a different vehicle to no avail. I was given the run around, extremly hateful customer service reps, all still while keeping payments current.

Finally, while driving this car on NW expressway, leaving their mechanic for the 8th time, the car started to accelerate without me touching the gas and hung at 65MPH, and the brakes would not respond.

By the grace of god, I managed to grab the emergency brake and swung into a vacated church parking lot, barely missing a light pole. Some many things were malfunctioning at once including the ignition, I finally got the motor to shut off. I called their office, only to get more disgustingly hateful responses, and told I would have to pay for a tow myself, and I was past my 4 week warranty, where more than the standard repairs are made free, and would have to cover the cost mostly out of my own pocket.

At this point I told them to come get the car. I have tried contacting them over the years, while constantly being hung up on, yelled out, and just ignored to deal with this. Due to financial reasons, I am now able to pursue legal action, and they countered with a garnishment of my wages. Saying I owe them over 15,000$ for a 2004 Dodge neon. Only about 200$ of this is their legal fees. I am meeting with an attorney, and striking back.

Do NOT do business with these people! They are scam artists, and the worst dealer you could go to.
