My girlfriend and I purchased a 2003 Hyuandi Sante Fe through Lee Auto Credit Saco back in March. It wasn't until a week or two after purchasing the vehicle that we noticed the Engine light turned on and the brakes started sounding like metal grinding up against metal. Since all cars purchased there are under a 30-day warranty, we decided to get this all fixed just in case they tricked us into buying a lemon vehicle.
Well, here we are 2 months later and we are still going through Lee Auto Mall's hurdles and hoops to get this car fixed. This car should've just been declared a lemon but instead Lee wants to attempt to fix it... Supposedly. Everytime we call them up to get a inquiry about the vehicle repairs, we always get "We'll have the mechanic get back to you" and he never does. It takes about a week just to get some straight answers out of them.
DO NOT get yourself stuck in a contract with Lee Auto Mall or Maine Auto Credit. They are not looking out for you, they are looking out for their wallets.
