I was excited to buy my first car, i wanted a small car with all wheel drive so i did a lot of research on the internet and found an audi i really liked in my price range.
You might be thinking I got what i paid for but it didn't stop there. The very day i brought my car home the check engine light went on, so I made calls to get it fixed and I would have to drive the hour and a half back to the service center.
The guys at the shop said the catallitic converter went and I would have to leave my car for atleast 3 days. Meanwhile I have a full time job, and no transportation so I asked Paul, the manager at Westwood Auto Mall to get me a rental since I literally had the car for less than 3 hours before it was inoperable.
He neglected to do so, telling me I needed to rent the car, but I am 22 and CAN NOT rent a car. I left my new car at the service shop for a week, even though it was ready after 3 days, the staff neglected to call me and let me know it was ready.
After bringing my car home from the shop the original problems I had, a loud humming at 1.5 RPMs and a grinding sound when I turned were still occuring. The next day the check engine light went back on.
I have had the car for 20 days, I've only been able to drive it for 10, I'm hoping the lemon law will come into effect soon, even though I probably already blew the warranty miles since I have to drive the 60 miles there and back every week.
Westwood Auto Mall - awful service, awful cars, zero problem solving skills - I've seen 3rd graders with better life skills
