Carmax claims on their website they will buy your car and when they do they will issue you a bank draft do not believe it its ascam the so called bank draft is nothing more than a business check that they do not want to verify the one they gave i deposited into my bank and they tried to verify 6 times 6 times they refused the amount of the so called bank draft was for 29.000 finally my bank gave up. Ms salvatore e-mailed and told me she would issue me another bank draft i told her the first one was not a bank draft
Why would i take a second one that was not a bank draft to this date i still have not been paid for this car. Everyone that reads this would be wise to stay away from this carmax and all others all they are doing when thay claim they are buying your cars is running a check liting scheme where they are trying to sell your car before they will release the funds they are suppose to have paid you for the car. We hope the department of justice, state attorney generals offices will start investigating this practice since it leaves no protection for the consumer and they are using other peoples money to operate their business
