Immediately following an accident on 12/11/01, I was referred to Enterprise by my auto body shop. They not only came to pick my up, but "took me for a ride!" They knew from the start that I did not have rental coverage and it would be out-of-pocket. I gave them my Visa card and it was not acceptable to them (That's a check card") so they had to charge me for a "sale", and $11.99/day for insurance on their car. Two days later, I made some calls to Hertz, told Enterprise to come and take me to Hertz. I went in to Ent. And showed Mr AJ a statement from Visa with a$15,000 line of credit. Suddenly, the rates were lowered and suddenly the liability insurance on the rental would be covered by StPaul, my insurance. I had to 'fight'to get him to go back to the first day, On Dec 26th, Mr AJ called me, wanted to extend my rental to Jan 4th, because "I talked to the auto body shop, they told me your car would be done on Jan 4th". When I called the shop, "no one called here", and my car will be finished on the 28th, as promised. Lies all around.
This is a form of discrimination. I know. I don't need to explain more.
