I dropped off my small boat at action marine because is was stalling out. They told me that I needed a fuel pump. They said it would be 2 weeks. I called 2 weeks later and they said the part had not come in yet. It ended up taking 2.5 months before they said that my boat was fixed.
I went to pick up my boat and they said they had tested it this morning and it ran great. They tried charging me an extra $200 for transport fee. Apparently, they needed to drop the boat off at another location where they fixed them. I could have dropped it off there. I refused to pay this fee so they took it off my bill.
I then tried to drive my boat back to my dock and it stalled out immediately. It was like they had not fixed anything. I took it back and of course they started saying "It must be the carborator and we will have to fix it again" I could tell that they thought I was some dumb ocean city tourist and they could totally screw me. I guess they did since I was out $500 and my boat did not run any better.
What they did was just wrong
