On or around Dec. 19th My wife and I went into Viva Chevrolet in El Paso Tx. To purchase a Chevy Traverse. Our salesmen Bill found us a 2009 Traverse we all agreed on a price and about 7pm that night we were told we could keep the car for 24 hours while they got the paperwork ready for us to sign.
We took the Traverse to our mechanic the next morning but was told that they couldn't look at the car until the following day at 8am. We then went back to our salesmen and explained everything to him. He apparently had all of our paperwork ready to sign. My wife and I explained to him that since one of the warranties were to run out in 4,000 miles then we didn't feel comfortable signing for it until our mechanic says its a good and reliable vehicle.
'
He then went on to tell me to just sign the papers and if our mechanic said it was a good vehicle then we didn't have to come back in BUT if our mechanic says its not a good car then they will "rip" up our "signed" paperwork and we can return the car.
