Ought morse ceramic brake pads (no address, no phone number, no paper work in or on box) I am a bilateral amputee below the knees bought pads from autozone Kinston n.C. (252) 523-7934 had pads installed by sauls collision center (a real nice guy, good work) the next day their was scrubbing noise coming from pads I took my truck back to mr. Sauls. The backing plates came off the pads they looked like they had been glued together. They were cutting into the rotors. Buck sauls said the would need to be replaced and the rotors turned again the pads were no good.
I went back to autozone was told by the manager autozone would replace the pads but not the labor that they were a do it yourself parts store. No one told this to me whin I purchased the brake pads they new a bilateral amputee could not do the work (or for that matter what percent of customers replace brake pads themselves) this is B. S pass the buck between morse automotive & autozone and leave the consumer hanging. I guess if I have a wreak I should file suit against both of the companys. Autozone manager said file a claim (then said it would take 4to8 weeks and 90 some percent were turned down) autozones telephone number is (252) 523-1333.79.95 tax, 60.00 labor owed me.
