Illegal charged, no delivery

National transport llc. We are submitting this complaint praying that someone will act upon it immediately. Other people, especially our active duty, service members must be warned of this company, as we move around alot and require delivery service of our cars and household goods. I soke to leslie from national transport llc on 04/21. I was guaranteed they would move my car by 04/26. I explained we are a military family and we need services rendered at that time and day. She guaranteed it. If she had not guaranteed, we would have gone with another company. On the day of the move, I called national transport to check the time the driver would be there, and was told they did not have a driver and the paperwork was still in processing. I explained my conversation with leslie and asked them to please pull the call and listen to it. The rep informed me that they have a procedure they follow where thet have to find a driver and the driver has to submit his insurance papers etc BEFORE they commit him to the job. This can take several days. I explained to her we were on a very time sensitive relocation and no one would be available to give the driver the keys to our car and sign his papers. We HAD orders to leave the state. Leslie insured us the company would move the car on th 26th. The rep aplogized and said there was nothing we could do but wait. I called another company, United Transportation. I spoke to Chris and explained everything. He had a driver on the way to our home the same day. I call National Transport back and explained that since they do not have a driver and there was no business done, we would be going with another company. The rep was very, extremely rude and said we would be charged the cancellation fee because they found a driver. I said I just spoke to you 10 min ago and you said you didn't have a driver and now 10 min later, you have a driver? I said no. You cannot charge me a fee for something you failed to do. She then tried to explain the priority arrangement to me. She sais I should have paid 100 more for priority and they would have picked the car up in 1 to 4 days. I said no mame. Leslie told US that priority meant the car would be delivered within 4 days. I told her that we would do standard delivey because my husband and I would be driving to the location and making sleeping stops in between. Leslie agreed that standard was fine and she confirmed with they would pick the car up on 04/21. So she connected me to her manager Teresa. I explained the whole scenario to Teresa. Teresa informed me that they do not share with consumers what they do to find a driver. The driver has to submit his insurance, sign contracts, etc. It takes time. They don't share this with customers because they don't want the customer to worry. I said, it's not sbout worrying. It's about wether your ompany could provide the service that day and you could not. She informed thay had a driver but due to his insurance they had to cancel and find another. Yet no one called us and told us this. While we were discussing this, my husband was on the compute and saw that Teresa debited our acct for 208 dollars. My husband, who is military personnel, asked her why would they do that without supplying a service. She then disconnected the call. She sent me an email stating thanks for your service and the account is debited for 208.00. There was no service performed. They had our debit card number because we had to use a credit card for them to process the request. They told us they would not debit our card without authorization from us. It's not about the money. We actually paid UNITED TRANSPORTATION more to have it done that day. It's not about the money. It's about this company stealing money and not providing a service. We were good paying consumers and military or not, no person deserves this. We have been doing our research on this company. They have hundreds of complaints on several diffeent sites. We will not just be another complaint. We have alerted the proper authorities, military officials etc, to ensure other soldiers and families are made aware to avoid this ompany at all costs. We wil not stop there. We are a military family and we are vey persistent. We will not give up until something is done.
