I visited the small UPS store near my home in Anchorage, last Tuesday evening, July 5th. I purchased a small fish box, filled it with frozen halibut and salmon fillets, added freeze packs and paid for 2-day shipping. The girl at the counter said the box would arrive by noon on Friday (in Nebraska). I tracked the shipment on Thursday and noticed that the delivery date had changed to Monday the 11th (today). As I suspected the box of fish arrived spoiled, in fact the UPS driver in Nebraska told my friend to refuse the shipment because he could smell the rotten fish. UPS says they may reimburse my shipping costs but I am out the $110 plus dollars in product! I will never use UPS again!
