On Nov 5th, I was charged for 6 Months of car washes ($107.99) for a Converse Texas location of TEXAS SHINE carwash. On Nov 11, six days later, I went to use it and that location was closed.
I called for a refund and was told that I should go to their nearest one 8.7 miles away from my house (OVER 17 MILES ROUNDTRIP) I said I was not going to drive by several car washes to go to theirs and just to give me a refund please, even if they prorated it. I asked them why they even sold me a 6 month membership to something that was closing. The locations they have are not near my work route or my home.
They refused to refund anything at all to me. I spoke to Brian Helms at 651-1165.
Please help all of us here in Converse that this happened to. They are still selling these 6 month memberships and I heard they started out with 11 locations and are down to 5 or 6. How many other people have they done this to? They need to refund money back to cisutmers who dont want to travel miles for a car wash at one of their other locations far form the customer.
